The one and only Mariann From Brooklyn threw out the first pitch at The Brooklyn Cyclones baseball game on July 21st 2013 at Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York. Needless to say, Pietro’s first family event was a tremendous success. With an overwhelming $35,000 raised towards Pietro’s Fight, the non-profit organization created by the Scarso family to promote awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and raise money towards finding a cure.
